Four Seasons Series - Autumn

This painting represents Autumn, a season of fulfillment, harvest, and quiet transformation.

It reflects what has been gained through summer—the growth, warmth, and energy accumulated after the awakening of spring.

Each circle symbolizes a fruit of energy: nourishment formed through time, light, and patience. What began in spring as potential has matured through summer, becoming visible, abundant, and complete. These circular forms are not only fruits of the earth, but also of life—experiences, emotions, and inner strength gathered along the way.

The composition carries a sense of gentle separation and release. While the circles remain connected through shared rhythm and flow, they also begin to drift apart, suggesting the natural transition toward letting go. Autumn is not an end, but a moment of recognition—acknowledging what has ripened before change arrives.

Color and texture play a central role in expressing this season. Warm tones evoke richness and depth, while layered surfaces give weight and presence to the energy contained within each form. The tactile quality invites the viewer to feel autumn not only as a visual experience, but as something grounded and sustaining.

This work explores Autumn as a time of gratitude and balance—a pause between expansion and rest, where energy is gathered, honored, and quietly prepared for what comes next.
