This abstract painting is inspired by my daily walks, where I repeatedly encounter roses that are small, abundant, and quietly persistent. Rather than depicting roses as they appear, I painted them as I experience them — clusters of presence, rhythm, and energy within the landscape.
Using texture as a primary language, I built the surface with acrylic and oil, allowing circular forms to emerge organically. Each rose becomes a tactile gesture rather than an object, reflecting how memory and perception soften details while amplifying feeling. The repetition of forms speaks to continuity and resilience, while variations in size and depth echo individuality within abundance.
This work is not about botanical accuracy, but about lived vision — how familiar scenes, encountered every day, can transform into something deeply personal and emotional through time.
Medium: Acrylic and oil on canvas
