In this painting, I sought to capture the mysterious beauty of cherry blossoms illuminated by moonlight. Beneath the night sky, the blossoms seem to dance around a radiant moon, creating a sense of movement, energy, and quiet wonder.

For me, sakura are more than flowers. They symbolize the fleeting nature of life, renewal, and the interconnectedness of all things. The swirling composition evokes the flow of energy through nature and the universe, while the moon serves as a calm and luminous presence at the center of this journey.

I explored multiple layers of color to create depth and atmosphere, blending soft pinks, whites, violets, and blues against a deep nocturnal background. The variations in tone and transparency are intended to suggest the changing light and shadows of the night, inviting the viewer to look beyond the surface.

This is a textured painting, and the raised surfaces play an important role in the work. By allowing certain blossoms and elements to emerge physically from the canvas, I aimed to enhance the sense of movement and vitality, creating a tactile dimension that changes with the light and the viewer’s perspective.

Through this work, I hope to convey both tranquility and mystery—a moment where nature, light, and the universe come together in silent harmony.
