Four Seasons Series -Summer

This painting is part of my Four Seasons series and represents Summer—a season of expansion, light, and living energy.

The work was inspired by a moment looking out from the mountains toward the ocean, where sunlight pours into both land and sea. The blue and green tones evoke the ocean, mountains, and the depth of nature in summer, while yellow light flows through them, blending the elements into a single energetic field.

Each circle represents a point of energy—individual, vibrant, and alive—yet connected to the whole. Together, they create movement and rhythm, echoing how summer feels: abundant, radiant, and continuously in motion.

Texture plays a central role in this piece. By incorporating grainy, tactile surfaces, I allowed the light to acquire its own physical presence. The surface catches and reflects light differently across the canvas, reinforcing the sensation of sunlight not only being seen, but felt.

This work is an exploration of summer as energy itself—flowing, layered, and endlessly renewing.
