This work is part of my ongoing Color Project series, exploring seasonal transitions through color, texture, and movement rather than literal representation. Inspired by autumn, the painting layers deep greens, ochres, and warm earth tones to evoke the richness of the season as it shifts toward stillness.

The surface is built through heavy texture using acrylic and oil, allowing the colors to emerge organically and interact with light. Gold and silver pigments are subtly embedded within the layers, catching reflections and suggesting the quiet brilliance often hidden in nature.

Sharp white diagonal lines cut across the composition, representing wind—an invisible yet powerful force that moves through the landscape, connecting elements and disrupting balance. These lines introduce tension and direction, contrasting with the dense, grounded textures beneath.

Rather than depicting autumn as a scene, this work reflects how the season is felt: dynamic, layered, and in motion.
