Color Project #1 explores the vivid greens and layered textures of tropical foliage found along the beaches of Vietnam. It is a study to emphasize color harmony and natural movement, trying to capture the serene atmosphere of coastal vegetation. I wanted to evoke calm, freshness and organic energy!

This piece is intended to capture a moment of beauty discovered during my travel. Painted on a tiny canvass, it distills that memory into a joyful bouquet busing with life, a sense of abundance, and above all gratitude – gratitude that I am still alive, and gratitude that someone arranged such a beauty in transitory places!

It is about the arrival of spring with cherry blossoms in full bloom against a serene blue sky and ice cold water river. I used textured brushwork to give petals a sense of movement and light while the fresh greens below evoke the renewal and vitality of the joyful season.

It is a lyrical homage to the garden my father created by himself. It is a harmonious world with the rhythm of rounded shrubs, the gentle cadence of flowing water, and the luminous lantern that stands like a steady note of guidance. I did not paint the garden as it is, but interpreted it as a symphony of memories from childhood, the passage of seasons, and my father’s passion for gardening. This is where care becomes melody and the heart recognizes the quiet music of home!
